EMDR Consultation

Ann offers individual consultation to people working towards becoming Accredited Practitioners, and to newly trained and established EMDR practitioners for their own registration and PD purposes.

Seeking EMDR Certification?

Ann is registered with the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) as both an EMDR Certified Therapist and a Consultant in Training (CIT), and as such can provide consultation for EMDR Certification with EMDRIA. 

Because Ann is registered as a CIT, she can provide a maximum of 15 hours of consultation to an EMDR trained clinician who is working towards EMDR Certification.  EMDR Certification applicants must obtain 20 hours of consultation on their use of EMDR with clients.  The remaining 5 hours of consultation must come from an EMDR Consultant.  Although a CIT can provide a letter of recommendation for the consultee seeking certification, a letter of recommendation from an EMDR Consultant is required for EMDR Certification applicants with EMDRIA.

Duration

Individual consultation sessions typically run for 1 hour but can be longer if desired.

Location

In-person sessions can be arranged.  Supervision can also be conducted via internet-based video conferencing if more convenient.

Fees

Fees vary depending upon the medium e.g. internet-based video conferencing vs. in-person.
